On the occasion of the official visit to Greece by the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Niko Peleshi, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece hosted a reception in Athens bringing together members of the diplomatic corps, members of parliament, business representatives, and figures from political, academic, cultural and social life in both countries.

The event provided an opportunity for informal exchanges among participants from different sectors, reflecting the strong and multifaceted ties between Albania and Greece.

Discussions during the evening highlighted the importance of continued engagement across institutions and communities, as well as the value of interpersonal contacts in further strengthening bilateral relations.

Special attention was given to the Albanian community in Greece, whose contribution to the country’s economic, social and cultural life continues to play an important role in bringing the two societies closer.
