The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ms. Elisa Spiropali, paid an official visit to Athens on 16–17 December 2025, where she was received by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Konstantinos Tasoulas, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. George Gerapetritis, and the Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikos Dendias.



During the meetings, discussions focused on bilateral priorities, regional developments, cooperation within the framework of the EU and NATO, as well as addressing the need to facilitate administrative procedures for the Albanian community in Greece. The Minister also held a meeting with representatives of the Albanian diaspora, highlighting and appreciating its important role and contribution to relations between the two countries.


The agenda included roundtable discussions organized by ELIAMEP and the Delphi Economic Forum, during which Albania’s European vision, the country’s economic transformation, and opportunities for strategic investments were presented. The visit concluded with an official reception with the Diplomatic Corps and Greek authorities, reaffirming the commitment to strengthening Albania-Greece relations, good neighborliness, and a European partnership in support of shared interests and regional stability.
