An evening dedicated to Albania was held in the heart of Athens as part of the multicultural festival “IRAKLIA 2026”, which this year celebrates 30 years of cultural activity. The event was organised by the Municipality of Heraklion Attica, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece.

The event was attended by H.E. Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, who welcomed the opportunity to continue the excellent cooperation with the Municipality of Heraklion Attica for the second consecutive year.

In her remarks, Ambassador Hajdaraga highlighted the importance of showcasing Albanian culture and traditions, as well as the contribution of the Albanian community to the cultural and social life of Greece.

Traditional songs and dances, national costumes and Albanian cuisine brought the richness and diversity of Albanian culture to the stage, making for an evening filled with music, tradition, emotion and pride.

Albanian culture was represented by “TIRONA”, “Jeta” NGO, “Bashkë për Ju”, “Vëllazërimi”, the folk dance group “Na bashkoi vallja popullore”, the association of people from Fier in Greece “Myzeqeja”, and “Bashkimi Delvinjot”.

The Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece would like to thank all the associations, artistic groups and members of the Albanian community who contributed to this special evening.
