The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, H.E. Ms. Luela Hajdaraga, together with the First Secretary for Economic Diplomacy, Ms. Joana Zhonga, hosted a meeting at the Albanian Embassy in Athens with Ms. Danae Bezantakou, CEO of Navigator Shipping Consultants and Secretary General of the Propeller Club of the United States – International Port of Piraeus.

This meeting provided a valuable opportunity to explore prospects for cooperation in the fields of maritime transport, international trade, and the role of economic diplomacy in further strengthening bilateral relations between Albania and Greece.

Discussions also focused on the empowerment of women entrepreneurs through the iforU – Greek Mentoring Network, as well as potential collaboration with the Albanian business community in both Greece and Albania. Particular attention was given to engaging Albanian youth in Greece through the YES Forum – Young Executives Shipping Forum, an important platform for supporting the next generation of professionals in the maritime industry.

The shared objective remains the advancement of meaningful cooperation and the deepening of knowledge and opportunity exchange, with a view to unlocking the great potential of the Albanian community’s human capital in Greece.
