During his visit, Minister Hasani participated in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Group of Friends of the Western Balkans, together with his counterparts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, with the participation of ministers of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Croatia, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, at the invitation and initiative of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, Sh.T. Mr. Antonio Tajani.

Representatives of the EU Commission DG NEAR also participated, as well as Italian companies of excellence.

During the visit, Minister Hasani held working meetings with the Chairman of the European Union Policy Committee, Senator Giulio Terzi di Sant’Agata, as well as with the Chairman of the European Union Policy Committee of the Chamber, Deputy Alessandro Giglio Vigna.

At the center of the talks: bilateral relations strengthened by increasingly frequent exchanges and structured by the strategic partnership between the two countries, allies-members of NATO, who with common commitment work for Albania’s membership in the EU, as well as to face regional and global security challenges together.
