Following the announcements regarding the earthquake that struck northeastern Japan on the afternoon of April 20, we urge Albanian citizens in Japan to pay close attention to the published information and strictly follow the instructions of the local authorities.
The competent Japanese authorities are continuously monitoring the situation and have taken all necessary measures to manage it. As of this moment, no developments requiring additional emergency measures have been reported, but vigilance and adherence to official announcements remain essential. A tsunami warning has been issued for the coast of the northeastern part of Japan.
Considering the possibility of subsequent tremors, it is recommended that citizens stay informed and follow any guidance from the Japanese authorities for their safety.
