During the Ambassadors’ Conference, Minister Hasani said: ”I am happy that, after eight years, we are bringing back the Ambassadors’ Conference.
Over the next three days, we will reflect on the challenges and opportunities of Albanian diplomacy, as well as our strategies on security, regional geopolitics, economy, tourism, culture, and our main priority: integration into the European Union.
This conference comes at a key moment – not only because of the increasingly important commitments of Albanian diplomacy – but also as we take concrete steps towards an increasingly modern and dignified foreign service, including a new Law on Foreign Service and the re-establishment of the Diplomatic Academy.
I thank Prime Minister Edi Rama, for his commitment to our foreign policy, as well as the guest of honor at the opening session of the Conference, my Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajo, a friend of our country and a strong supporter of the European integration of Albania and the region.”
