The Ambassador of Albania, Zhaklina Peto held a working lunch with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Nikollë Camaj. The meeting took place as part of the ongoing communication with representatives of Montenegrin institutions and the monitoring of developments of interest to the Albanian community in Montenegro.

During the discussion, recent political developments in the country were addressed, as well as several issues related to the functioning of local government and the representation of Albanians in local institutions. Particular attention was also given to the recent debate surrounding the proposed amendments to the legal framework on local self-government.

The conversation was characterized by an open exchange of views on current developments and the dynamics within the Albanian political factor in Montenegro. The meeting reaffirmed the importance of continued dialogue with Albanian political representatives and of closely following issues of importance to the Albanian community.
