Prime Minister Edi Rama held a bilateral meeting with Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Angela Merkel. The meeting focused on progress of the ongoing justice reform and Albania’s integration process into the European Union. Prime Minister Edi Rama also highlighted the expectations of the Albanian government for the upcoming European Commission report due to be released by end of May. PM Rama expressed gratitude to the Chancellor for Germany’s continued support to further push Albania on its path towards the European Union. The talks also focused on the situation in the region, the indispensability of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia on full normalization of relations between the two countries.
