– The DIASPORA Summit is a major activity organized for the first time by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama on November 18-20, 2016 in Tirana.

The summit will gather prominent individuals from various fields, leaders or representatives of various organizations in the diaspora as well as its members from all countries of the world. The summit will be the first all-Albanian assembly to analyze, together with the authorities and other actors of the country, all the possibilities for establishing a single-minded cooperation between the homeland and the Albanian diaspora in the world.

– The summit will be a non-political activity based on the comprehensive principle, with the desire to establish a bridge of communication that is always desired but missing and to create a mechanism of communication, cooperation and sustainable interaction between the homeland and compatriots abroad.
