The Embassy of Albania in Bucharest, in cooperation with the Cabinet of the Romanian Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Business Environment, as well as with the Albanian National Tourism Agency, organized on December 3, 2020 the virtual Business Forum dedicated to the promotion of Albania as an attractive destination for the upcoming touristic season 2021. The Business Forum was welcomed and greeted by the Romanian Minister Secretary of State for Foreign Trade and Business Environment Liviu Rogojinaru, Ambassador Ilir Tepelena, the Secretary of State for Tourism Emil-Razvan Pirjol and the General Director of the Albanian National Tourism AgencyKornelia Ferizaj. Even the Director for Economic Diplomacy at MEFA, Mrs. Silvana Leskaj made some encouraging remarks to this initiative. The Romanian operators were represented by 8 well-known companies in the field of tourism which were represented by the Head of the National Association of Romanian Tourism Agencies Mr. Dumitru Luca, who once again ensured the readiness of the Romanian operators to promote touristic packages for Albania. The Albanian side was represented by 10 tour operators and a licensed tour guide. Both delegations agreed to work together on the implementation of the important project of a direct flight between Bucharest and Tirana, initially through the charter format and seasonal flights.
