The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj is in Paris where he is having an official visit. Cakaj had a meeting with Minister of State for European Affairs of France, Clément Beaune.
The Ministers discussed about the work done from Albania in fulfilling the requirements of the Council’s Conclusions in March 2020, which were also detailed in the last Progress Report of the European Commission.
“I am very encouraged by the positive feedback of France for the reforms done by Albania until now on its European path.”- Cakaj said in a Facebook post related to the meeting.
Even though there is much work to do, as Cakaj emphasized, France will continue to support Albania in the bilateral aspect and in service of the European Integration.
