On the occasion of the Europe Day, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, posted a video message on this historical day.
Minister Xhaçka stressed that the vision presented 71 years ago by Robert Schuman should be taken forward through the enlargement of the EU with six Western Balkan countries.   
According to the Chief diplomat, Albania today is closer than ever to the goal of membership, as the country has met all the required conditions and priorities.
“We are confident that the European future of Albania and of the region will not be compromised in any scenario. That torch will be in safe hands and I speak of our most valuable national asset, our young generation who will raise the stake of Albania’s name, role and contribution in the European family,” she said.
