14.01.2021 - “The main priority of our country remains consolidating the process of the European integration as well as the continuation of compliance with the “acquis”, on which an unsparing political, diplomatic and institutional work of the Government is invested.
This was stated by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, during the meeting she had today with the head of the OSCE in Albania, Mr. Vincenzo Del Monaco. “In this perspective, added Xhaçka, Albania is looking forward to a date for the First Intergovernmental Conference with the European Union”.
Minister Xhaçka and Ambassador Del Monaco also valued the success of Albania chairing the OSCE during 2020, despite the situation conditioned by the pandemic, Albania did not lose focus from its objectives, trying until the end to successfully implement them.
Chief Diplomat Xhaçka appreciated the commitment of the OSCE Presence in Albania and its contribution to the development of comprehensive reforms in the country, as well as its contribution to regional development.
