Minister Bushati met OIC Secretary General
In the framework of his stay in New York and participation in the proceedings of the 70th Session of the UN General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, Ditmir Bushati, met the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Iyad Ameen Madani.
During the meeting, parties discussed the latest regional developments and the need for better coordination in coping with security challenges. Minister Bushati thanked Mr. Madani for the support given to Kosovo and encouraged that this support be also provided on Kosovo’s request for admission to UNESCO. In this context, Minister Bushati asked for the support of the organization for the further recognition of Kosovo by its member countries.
