Embassy of the Republic of Albania in the Republic of Slovenia invites Albanians and partners, associations and businesses in Slovenia, to offer their contribution in this moment of solidarity to the families and citizens in need, who were affected by the earthquake.
Ljubljana, 23 November - President Borut Pahor received his Albanian counterpart Ilir Meta in Ljubljana on Wednesday for an unannounced working meeting during which the pair exchanged views on the situation in the region and bilateral relations, Pahor's office said.
While Pahor and Meta agreed relations between the two countries were very good, Pahor was interested in Albania's political situation and progress on its path to the EU.
He promised Slovenia would continue supporting Albania in reform efforts needed to start accession talks for Albania's full EU membership.
Albanian National Agency of Tourism is participating at the International Tourism Fair "Natour Alpe-Adria", Ljubljana, 1- 4 February 2017. This is Albania's first participation in that fair.
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and his Slovenian host and counterpart Miro Cerar agreed at Monday's meeting that the relations between the two countries are very good and further developing. They agreed that there is still a lot of potential in economic cooperation and that the countries will pay special attention to young people.
Cerar told the press after the meeting that he had agreed with the Albanian colleague that there was still much potential for cooperation, especially in business.
