On May 30, Ambassador Ferizi presented his credentials to King Charles III. The ceremony was impressive, and the King expressed interest in the ambassador's scientific research, showing delight that the Albanian Government had brought him back from America to Britain. The ambassador emphasized that he represents the well-integrated and hardworking Albanians in Britain, as well as a minority that faces undeserved difficulties. He highlighted the pride and loyalty of Albanians towards Britain.
The ambassador conveyed the desire of the Albanian state for a visit from the King to Albania, suggesting the Albanian Alps and Butrint. The gift of four types of honey from Malësia e Madhe was greatly appreciated by the King, especially the chestnut honey. The escort to the Palace was adorned by historian Sir Noel Malcolm, and the embassy staff celebrated together with colleagues from the Foreign Office, the royal court, and the Kosovar embassy, raising a toast to the King and the Albanians.
