Ambassador Ilir Tepelena held a meeting with the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Mrs. Markéta Pekarová Adamová, one of the prominent figures of Czech politics. The conversation between them focused on the role and contribution of parliamentary diplomacy in the further strengthening of relations between the two countries and peoples, as well as the consolidation of the friendship lobby in the respective Parliaments. President Pekarová Adamová reaffirmed the unwavering support of the Czech Republic to support Albania’s European Integration, in general, and the accession negotiation process, in particular. Also, she gladly accepted the invitation to visit Albania soon.
