The Association of Writers and Artists in Greece, “LiterArt”, marked the 20th anniversary of its establishment with a special event dedicated to creativity, cultural heritage and the contribution of Albanian artists to cultural life and to strengthening the ties between Albania and Greece.

The anniversary programme featured a diverse range of artistic performances, including appearances by professional actors, classical music and Albanian songs, as well as an exhibition of works by Albanian painters who have pursued their artistic careers in Greece. The event also included the presentation of awards of appreciation in recognition of the longstanding contributions to the association and its activities.

The event was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, H.E. Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, the Head of the Kosovo Interests Office in Greece, Ambassador Fitim Gllareva, members of “LiterArt” and representatives of the Albanian community.

Recognising the association’s contribution over the past two decades, Ambassador Hajdaraga highlighted the important role of the artistic community in promoting Albanian culture through the many forms of artistic expression, building lasting bridges with Greek culture and contributing to a shared future.

Through art, literature and the Albanian language, “LiterArt” has made a valuable contribution over the years to preserving and promoting Albanian cultural identity, while also strengthening cultural dialogue and mutual understanding between Albania and Greece.

The Embassy of the Republic of Albania extends its best wishes to “LiterArt” for many more years of successful artistic activity and expresses its appreciation to all those who, through their creativity and dedication, have contributed to enriching cultural life and strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
