On the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between Albania and Greece, the Third Greece–Albania Economic Forum and B2B meetings were held at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI – Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry). The Forum provided an important platform for strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DHTIT – Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry), with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Greece and relevant institutions from both countries.

The Forum was opened by Mr. Ioannis Bratakos, President of ACCI, H.E. Ms. Luela Hajdaraga, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, and Mr. Nikolin Jaka, President of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Opening remarks were also delivered by Mr. Enkelejd Musabelliu and Mr. Stavros Kalafatis.
During the Forum, participants highlighted the positive momentum in Albania–Greece economic relations and stressed the importance of further strengthening sustainable mechanisms of cooperation between institutions and business communities. The Greek side recognized the growing potential of the Albanian economy and its increasingly favorable investment climate, while the Albanian side emphasized Greece’s strategic role as a key economic and investment partner in the region. In this context, the need to further increase trade exchanges, expand mutual investments, and support enterprises across priority sectors was underlined.
Thematic sessions featured presentations and contributions from key institutions and investment agencies, including Ms. Laura Plaku of AIDA – Albanian Investment Development Agency, Mr. Julian Adili of ASDRE – Albanian State Development and Real Estate, Ms. Hilda Alisandratou of Enterprise Greece, Mr. Dritan Delija of TEDA Tirana, and Ms. Vahidije Kadiu of Durana Tech Park. Discussions focused on concrete cooperation opportunities in strategic sectors including energy and renewable energy, tourism, infrastructure, technology and innovation, agro-industry, digital transformation, sustainable development, and creative industries.

A key component of the Forum was the B2B meetings between Albanian and Greek businesses, which enabled direct contacts, networking, and the identification of new trade and investment partnerships. The meetings were assessed as highly productive, with tangible potential for future agreements and cooperation.

The Forum reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthening Albania–Greece economic relations and deepening cooperation between institutions and business communities, with economic diplomacy remaining a key priority for fostering investment, partnership, and sustainable development in the region.
