As part of the celebrations of “Albanian November,” the month dedicated to our national pride and independence, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Athens, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport and within the framework of the project “Cultur Alb – Albanian Days Around the World,” hosted the commemorative exhibition “A Journey into Albanian Memory.” This special cultural event cast light upon our shared roots, collective memory, and enduring heritage.
The exhibition honors the distinguished collector and physician Panajotis Koliomihalis, who, since 1968, has devoted himself with passion and dedication to assembling a rare and valuable collection of documents, maps, and postcards that trace the history of the Albanian people as far back as the 16th century.
Far more than a historical retrospective, the exhibition stands as a tribute to a profound love for the homeland and to the continuous efforts to preserve and promote Albanian cultural identity on the international stage. It embodies the spirit of national memory and strengthens bridges of friendship through culture and the shared spiritual values that unite us.
