On the sidelines of the 3rd Albania-Greece Economic Forum, a bilateral meeting was held between Mr. Ioannis Bratakos, President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Mr. Nikolin Jaka, President of the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of their respective delegations.
The discussions focused on opportunities to further expand economic and trade cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, as well as on strengthening institutional mechanisms that support mutual investment and joint business initiatives.

Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Greece, emphasized the importance of economic diplomacy and regional cooperation in promoting sustainable economic development. She highlighted the considerable potential for cooperation in strategic sectors such as tourism, energy, infrastructure, and investment, while underlining the important role of the chambers of commerce in fostering trade exchanges and creating new opportunities for Albanian and Greek businesses.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the representative business institutions of the two countries and advancing initiatives that contribute to increased economic exchanges and closer ties between their respective business communities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Nikolin Jaka extended an official invitation to Mr. Ioannis Bratakos to visit Tirana and participate in the 4th Greece-Albania Economic Forum, which is expected to be held in Albania. The invitation was welcomed by the Greek side, which expressed its readiness to continue and further institutionalize this important framework for economic cooperation between the two countries.
