The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Mrs. Olta Xhaçka, received the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Mr. Peter Szijjarto, who paid an official visit to Tirana. The conversation focused on political, economic, cultural relations, as well as on Albania's progress and challenges in the integration process. Minister Szijjarto reconfirmed Hungary's support for Albania in its path towards EU, and also talked about the interest of some Hungarian companies to invest in the country. Minister Xhaçka expressed her gratitude for the Hungarian support, as well as for the support given after the earthquakes of September and November 2019. At the same time, she assured her counterpart that the Hungarian business will find in Albania a friendly and hospitable environment. 12 February 2021
