Though not sharing the same border, Albania and Hungary have enjoyed traditional friendship and relations since medieval times. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on 1922, but now we are facing together important challenges and opportunities for further development.
The Embassy will, as always, remain committed to promoting steady and sound development of bilateral political, economic, cultural, people to people and business to business ties. I and my colleagues stand ready to do our utmost, not only to protect and promote Albania’s and Albanians’ interests in Hungary, but also to provide real information and quality services for Hungarians wishing to visit or invest in Albania.
Strengthening economic cooperation and increasing trade exchange remains a challenge for the future. Energy, tourism, transport, agriculture, culture and art are some of the areas of cooperation where Albanians and Hungarians have a lot to share and exchange.
