Deputy Minister Fino participates in the Security Council meeting on the "Situation in Belarus"

On 8 October 2021, the Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Mrs. Megi Fino attended the Security Council meeting in the Arria-Formula for the "Situation in Belarus".

Ambassador Shpresa Kureta participates in the meeting organized by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Latvia, Artis Pabriks

On September 23, 2021, Ambassador Mrs. Shpresa Kureta participated in the meeting organized by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Latvia, Artis Pabriks with the Ambassadors of NATO and EU member states and Partner countries, to discuss current issues of regional security. During the meeting, they discussed the Russian-Belarusian military exercise "Zapad 2021", the crisis of illegal immigration at the EU external borders in Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, the situation in Belarus, as well as future cooperation between NATO and EU allies. 

 

Information on the movement of foreign nationals in Albania

Starting from 06th of September 2021, to enter the Republic of Albania, whether by land, sea or air, you must be equipped with:
 
• Vaccination passport, which is valid 14 days after the second dose of vaccine has been administered; OR
• PCR test performed up to 72 hours before entry; OR
• Rapid antigen test performed within 48 hours before entry; OR
• Valid document proving that you have passed or recovered from Covid-19 up to 6 months after recovery;

Skapi at the meeting of Foreign Ministers: Convinced that negotiations for Albania will be opened during the Slovenian presidency

The Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Armand Skapi, represented Albania at the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Group of Visegrad 4 and the Wester Balkans 6. Skapi praised the support of the Visegrad Group for the opening of negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia, while expressing confidence that these negotiations will be opened during the Slovenian Presidency.
