The 6th Forum of the Union for the Mediterranean was held in Barcelona, dt. 28 - 29 November 2021, attended by the Albanian delegation led by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, EXCA.Mrs.Olta Xhaçka.
As a Mediterranean country and part of the extraordinary culture of this region, Albania attaches special importance to the Union and plays an active role in its activities. In particular Albania aims to intensify connectivity between the member countries of this initiative and to promote stability and security within this common space.
During this activity was celebrated for the first time the Mediterranean Day, on November 28th.
