Information for Foreigners - All foreigners who have a valid multi – entry Schengen visa, type “C” or “D”, or a valid residence permit in one of the Schengen member states, can enter, stay and transit Albania without visa, within the validity term of the visa or the residence permit. The same applies for all holders of Laissez-Passer issued by United Nations Organisations, and its branch, NATO, Council of Europe and European Union, regardless of nationality.

For the citizens that enter the territory of the Republic of Albania without visas, the permit of stay is 90 days within a period of 180 days and during the first 30 days of their stay, they should show up to the General Border Directorate of Migration to inform about their generalities and time of stay otherwise they will be fined when they departure Albania.
