On 29 November, a cultural event dedicated to the Arbëresh heritage took place at the premises of the Municipality of Saint-Gilles in Brussels. The initiative was organized in collaboration between the Municipality of Saint-Gilles, the Konica Association, and with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgium and the Mission of Albania to the European Union.

The event brought the unique Arbëresh heritage and culture to the European capital, aiming to strengthen the ties between this historic diaspora and the Albanian community in Belgium.

The audience attended the theatrical performance “Pinoqi e Arberis” in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by traditional cuisine and the solemn musical performance of the Orchestra of the Albanian Armed Forces, which added a festive and emotional character to the evening.

The Arbëresh community, which has preserved the Albanian language and traditions for more than five centuries, remains an inspiring example of our living heritage.
