Brussels, 31 March 2026 – The official inauguration ceremony of the EU–Belgium–Albania Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUBACCI) took place at the premises of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of Belgium. This important initiative aims to strengthen economic cooperation and trade relations between Albania, Belgium and the European Union.
The event brought together representatives of public institutions, the business community, Belgian regional investment agencies such as HUB Brussels and AWEX, representatives of the Belgian Chambers of Commerce, as well as other strategic partners, creating an important platform for dialogue and economic cooperation.
The President of the Chamber, Ms. Eneida Rrapaj, presented the vision and mission of EUBACCI, emphasizing the importance of this platform in strengthening economic ties and supporting Albanian and European businesses.
In her remarks, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the Kingdom of Belgium, Ms. Albana Dautllari, highlighted the Embassy’s full support for this initiative and its importance in further strengthening economic and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
A key element of the event was also the participation of Ms. Laura Plaku, Director of the Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA). Also present were Mr. Julian Adili, Director of ASDRE, Ms. Florensa Haxhi, Director of Durana Tech Park, and Mr. Dritan Delija, Director of TEDA Tirana, who presented concrete investment and development opportunities in Albania, encouraging the interest of Belgian and European companies in the Albanian market.
During the event, the mission and objectives of EUBACCI were presented in detail, highlighting its role as a bridge between businesses, institutions and investors, facilitating economic cooperation, information exchange and the creation of new development opportunities. The establishment of this Chamber represents an important strategic step for the Albanian business community and European partners, contributing to increased competitiveness, market expansion and the improvement of the investment climate.
The event continued with a networking session and concluded with a reception, offering participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore new possibilities for cooperation.
