
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati will attend the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the South East European Co-operation Process (SEECP) on 4-5 September 2017, which will be held in Bled, Slovenia.
In this context, Minister Bushati will chair the First Conference of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Western Balkan Fund (WBF) which includes Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Serbia.
This Conference is expected to take important decisions in making the Fund fully operational. The Western Balkans Fund is the first regional initiative based in Tirana and will be run by an Albanian diplomat.
During his visit in Slovenia, Minister Bushati will take part in the Bled Strategic Forum (BSF), an annual Conference of decision makers from Central and Southeastern Europe, to encourage an open debate on economic development and security challenges.
In the course of the work sessions at Bled, Minister Bushati will hold bilateral meetings with counterparts from participating countries and representatives of international organizations.
