On 4 December, the Embassy of Albania, in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) and the Danish Embassy, representing the Presidency of the Council of the EU hosted the 10th Western Balkans Ambassador’s Forum. This decade-long tradition brought together key regional actors, ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of the Bundestag, German institutions, think tanks, researchers, and young students to discuss the region’s European future and the challenges of the Berlin Process and EU enlargement.
This year’s program featured two panels:
“The Future of the Berlin Process: Ambitions, Deliverables, and Obstacles”
“Shaping the Future of the Western Balkans: Empowering the Architects of Tomorrow”.
For the first time, the Forum welcomed as guest of honor the Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, Mr. Gunther Krichbaum.
At the 10th Western Balkans Ambassador’s Forum in Berlin, one message stood out clearly: the EU enlargement process should become faster, more practical, and more meaningful for citizens.
Investing in youth is key to the future of the Western Balkans and EU integration. Education, innovation, and regional cooperation give young people real opportunities to become architects of Europe’s future.
