The focus of the exchange was strengthening bilateral relations between Albania and Mannheim.

Productive discussions took place at IHK Mannheim with President Manfred Schnabel, focusing on enhancing economic cooperation and investment opportunities.

The exchange continued with talks between Ambassador Sakiqi and the Rector of the University of Mannheim, Prof. Dr. Thomas Fetzner, exploring ways of academic collaboration, supporting studies and research between universities in Albania and Mannheim.

At the same time at the University of Mannheim, Ambassador Sakiqi had the pleasure of participating in an interactive discussion with students about Albania’s path toward the EU. A dynamic exchange of ideas and perspectives made for an inspiring conversation about the future enlargement of EU.

Ambassador Sakiqi was honored and privileged to sign the Golden Book of the City of Mannheim alongside First Mayor Prof. Dr. Diana Pretzell marking a milestone in our partnership.
