The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Directorate of Economic Diplomacy, informs all Albanian citizens abroad who are part of the gastronomy sector that the Global Albanian Gastronomy Festival (GAGF) will take place on October 2-3, 2024, at Arena Halle, Berlin, Germany. This event is organized with the support of the National Diaspora Agency.

12th Athens Energy Summit

The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Athens, Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga participated in the 12th Athens Energy Summit, during which a wide range of topics, such as  energy transition, geopolitics, energy security, energy conservation and the future of global energy systems were discussed in the path to climate neutrality, expert knowledge on strategies and solutions for the most urgent energy issues.Furthermore, opportunities, new perspectives and current issues that will monopolize the energy sector's interest in the coming years were examined.

The National Folklore Festival of Gjirokastra returns in June 2023

Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania will hold the National Folklore Festival in Gjirokastër from 24 June to 1 July 2023.

This June, Gjirokastër will welcome artists and artist groups from the 12 regions of the country, as well as from Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, etc. Folk music groups and performers from Italy’s Arbëresh community and groups from Greece will also take the stage at the historic stone city.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Albania in Greece, Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga, paid a working visit to the Republic of Cyprus, where she met with the new elected President, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Constantinos Kombos, as well as with representatives of other high Cypriot authorities.
 
During the meetings, the progress of relations between the two countries, the perspective of their development and issues of mutual interest were discussed.

The Ambassador, Mrs. Luela Hajdaraga held a meeting with the Minister of Digital Governance of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Kyriakos Pierrakakis, to discuss the digitization of public services in Albania and Greece, and to exchange knowledge and experiences in the field of state information systems, with an emphasis on facilitating the procedures for providing electronic services to Albanian citizens, confirming once again the excellent level of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
