The purpose of the training was to increase the level of cooperation and interaction between these specialized structures for the prevention and elimination of terrorist attacks. This program is another example of the expansion of police cooperation between Albania and Greece, with the aim of protecting the rule of law and ensuring a safe environment for citizens.
Speaking about the importance of this exercise, the Minister Mr. Theodhorikakos stressed that: "These types of activities and cooperation between the services increase the combat ability of the leaders of both units, strengthen interoperability in cross-border cooperation, while achieving a high degree of readiness to face modern operative challenge. These efforts are crucial for the overall strengthening of internal security in both countries."
Ambassador Hajdaraga thanked the Minister of Citizen Protection for the hospitality and cooperation and emphasized that "this cooperation will strengthen security and also the relations of the two countries".
