University of Tirana and Bar Ilan University Tel Aviv signed a MoU  in 18th of June 2021. For the Albanian side the Agreement was signed by the rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Artan Hoxha and the Israeli side from Deputy President Prof. Moche Lewenstein.
Valentina Leskaj, Board Member of Combat Antisemitism Movement was one of the contributors to the process, which preceded the cooperation agreement between the University of Tirana and BAR-ILan University, Israel. She declared that this initiative was implemented thanks to the  contribution of Mr. Robert Singer, Director of IMPAKT, Israel and the Ambassador of Albania to Israel, Mr. Bardhyl Canaj, but also to the efficiency and dedication of the rector of the University of Tirana, Prof. Artan Hoxha.

This cooperation will be focused on the field of scientific research, training and organization of international scientific activities, bringing excellent opportunities for the academic staff of the University of Tirana as well as for students who are part of academic programs.
