Ambassador Canaj attended the World Summit on Counter Terrorism ICTs 20th international Conference which will take part from 10-14 September in Reichman University in Herzliya.
The opening remark were held by prof.Uriel Reichman, Founding President and Chairman of the Board followed by Shabtai Shavit Chairman of the Board of Directors and former Director of the Mossad underlined the importance of counter terrorism as a global challenge.
Jonathan Davis as a Master of the ceremonies at the same time Vice President for External Relations and Head of Raphael Recanati International School welcomed the participants with special focus on diplomatic representatives notably the Charge d’Affaires of Kosovo Ines Demiri welcoming the State of Kosovo in Israel.
The first day speakers included Charge d’Affaires Michael Rainey from US Embassy in Israel and Lt.Col Stephen Magennis US Army College Fellow, while Key Note address “A leader’s Perspective on 9/11” will be the Honorable Jose Maria Aznar Former PM of Spain. Closing address via recorded message were held by Alejandro Mayorkas Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security USA.
