On 3 October 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Brussels hosted a reception on the occasion of Ambassador Albana Dautllari assuming her duties.

The event brought together representatives of Albanian associations active in Belgium, as well as members of the Albanian community.

In her address, Ambassador Dautllari underscored the importance of close cooperation with the Albanian community in Belgium, including professionals, entrepreneurs, and representatives of Albanian associations who make a valuable contribution to the country’s social and cultural life.

She expressed her firm commitment to strengthening ties between the Embassy and Albanian associations, with a view to fostering sustainable and effective cooperation in the promotion of the Albanian language, culture, and national identity.

The Ambassador further emphasized that the Embassy will continue to serve as a bridge and a reliable partner for the community, supporting and encouraging joint initiatives that contribute to the integration, visibility, and success of Albanians in Belgium.

In conclusion, she reaffirmed her commitment to building new avenues of cooperation between Albania and Belgium through the active engagement of the diaspora as an important partner in this process.
