At the invitation of the President of the Brussels Parliament, Mr. Bertin Mampaka, the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Belgium attended a meeting at the Parliament, alongside Member of Parliament of Albanian origin, Kristela Bytyçi.
The meeting underscored the pivotal role of Brussels as a European capital, hosting key institutions of the European Union, NATO, and a wide range of international organizations.
Discussions focused on key areas of mutual interest, including diplomacy, the European Union enlargement process, foreign trade, and the strong and enduring ties that Belgium—particularly Brussels—maintains with Albania and the Albanian community residing there.
The exchange reflected a shared commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation, while also highlighting the important role of the Albanian diaspora as a bridge between the two countries.
