On 26 November, an official reception marking Albania’s National Day was organized in Brussels, bringing together the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgium, the Mission of Albania to NATO, and the Mission of Albania to the European Union.
This year’s celebrations took place at a significant moment for the country, reflecting the strengthening of relations with Belgium, highlighted by the decision to open embassies in Brussels and Tirana. The event also coincided with Albania’s progress in its European integration process, including the opening of all negotiation chapters with the European Union, positioning Albania in Brussels as a symbol of progress and European ambition.
The reception gathered representatives of EU member states, EU and NATO institutions, Belgian federal and regional authorities, as well as associations, professionals, and young Albanians contributing actively to life in Belgium.
In a prestigious venue and an excellent atmosphere, and accompanied by a musical performance by the Armed Forces Band, around 300 attendees had the opportunity to enjoy authentic Albanian cuisine and beverages, alongside promotional photos and videos showcasing Albania.
